The week with Uncle Joe quickly came to and end. It was a good, relaxing week in which we saw and ate (well mom and I did) a lot.
Now, it's time to get back home. We left Uncle Joe's driveway at 6:55 a.m. and 11 hours and 20 minutes later we pulled blue car into our garage.
During the trip you discovered the movie Frozen and fell in love with it. Yesterday afternoon we purchaed the movie for the ride home. We stopped at Best Buy to get Joe a new case for his cell phone and while we waited for mom in the restroom you and I walked over to the Disney movie section.
You spotted Elsa and Anna and that was it. We weren't walking out of the store without it. It was $20 well spent. You watched the movie twice on the way home which covered about four hours of the drive for you.
We made two stops, breakfast at a Waffle House somewhere North of Charlotte. Then, we drove, and drove, and drove ... another four plus hours to Marietta, Ohio where we stopped for gas and a late lunch/early dinner depending on how you look at it.
After that, it was an easy hour and a half leg to Canton.
It was such a relief to us that you behaved so well on both the trip down and the trip home. And for that we thank you.
We could tell though, that you were happy to be home to your toys and McGee and Cookie.
I went to our room to change and when I came out you and mom were already deep in play-doh.
Welcome home and again, thanks for being considerate on the drive home!
