Ava, you haven't slept like this for a
long, long time. Since your mom and I both had to work yesterday we
had some errands to run today before heading over to Keith's for the
Super Bowl.
We got through Target – with a dirty diaper false alarm – then went to Penn Station to grab some lunch. You fell asleep right as we were finishing our meals and we thought it would be another typical 20-30 minute nap.

We got home and your mom suggested bringing you in the house in the car seat. We set you in our bedroom and you didn't even flinch. For three and a half hours we continually checked on you to make sure you were still moving, breathing, etc. To sleep this long is unlike you.
We're happy you were able to sleep, we know sometimes you need it. It seems like a lot of the time you don't have that opportunity. I feel we are seemingly always going somewhere, coming home from work and packing you right up to go to the store etc.
We'll work on that for you.
Sleep well tonight, little one.
