We went to our usual 11:00 a.m. Mass at Walsh University this morning. As we always do, we sit as close as possible to the music. Why? Because you can't get enough of it.
You were asleep when we got there today and slept for about half the Mass, but when you awoke you homed in on the music and was transfixed.
The first time we went to Mass after you were born we were a little late and had to sit near the music. Your mom and I feared it would be too loud for you. My were we wrong. You're steel blue eyes were glued to the musicians and the music they were playing. It hasn't changed over the past six months either.
Now, like today, we intentionally sit near the music so you can watch and listen. Even though your mom and I are void of musical talent, we feel it's necessary for us to introduce you to a music program as soon as we can.
At home, you hammer away on the piano keys on your play mat, you it all the keys n the xylophone toy that Kristi and Ben gave you. It's fairly obvious that you have an affinity for music and as parents, we feel it's necessary for us to help you pursue whatever it is you desire. Right now that's music.
On a side note, we are so amazed at how well behaved you are in Church. If you're not watching the musicians, you are so content. We thank you for that.
