Today Ava Hated The Park

I was about 45 minutes late leaving the office this afternoon and I couldn't wait to get home and talk to mom about going for a walk or even to the park down the street.

I walked in the door aaaaaannnnnnnddddd ... you were out cold in mom's arms on the couch. 

Deflated. 

Maybe this is what wore you out?

Since your nap was so late in the afternoon we opted to rouse you after an hour so you wouldn't be up all night. 

What a mistake that proved to be Miss Crankypants! 

You seemed excited to go to the park when we asked you and even giddy to take a seat in your car. 

The fun stopped there. Things were promising as we arrived at the park. "Ava do you want to swing?"

"Okay" you replied. 

As soon as you got seated you wanted down. 

Maybe a trip down the slide? As you would say "Nope."

You looked for ducks in the stream that borders the park and wouldn't you know it, two landed as we were walking away. Such was our luck today. 

We quickly packed up shop and headed back home. 

Lesson learned, let you sleep!

Tomorrow is promising to be an even better day so maybe we'll try again?
