I probably could have tamed your hair a bit before this photo, but hey, you just got done bouncing on the trampoline and we were having fun.
When we got back inside I noticed our capes (your blankets) were sitting on the dining room table and decided to reminisce a little bit and play the part of super heroes tonight.
As you grow mom and I will look back at the memories of raising you (and soon to be your sister) ... heck you just turned two and we seem to do this almost daily already.
What I'm specifically referring to here is a time when you were new to your feet and we threw your blankets over our shoulders and ran from room to room saying "we're going to save the world!"
Tonight, we relived that moment.
After we saved the world it was time for a little "Ring Around the Rosey"
Now it's time to wind down, we've got some packing to do and need a good nights sleep for the drive to Deer Creek State Park tomorrow for a little getaway.
