Today Ava Saddened Mom

You were winding down, getting tired, so I told mom I would take you back to your room and put you down for the the night. 

Always exploring.

We paused on our way and said goodnight to mom but as we stopped, you reached for her. That made her day and she excitedly took you from me and went back to the nursery. It only took a minute for that high to be brought back down. 

She came to the living room moments later with a frown and sunken shoulders. Visibly disappointed.

I thought maybe you went to sleep too quickly for her liking. She shook that one off and said it was because she didn't feel like you needed her anymore. 

You were more interested in laying in your crib and watching your sleepy little turtle. 

Mom said "She kept leaning and reaching for her crib. She wanted to be in the crib with that turtle rather than relax with me." 

She really enjoys winding down and putting you to sleep. 

Maybe tomorrow night you can grant her wish?
