Today was your day. Growing up, on our birthdays your Uncles and I were allowed to choose our dinners and the type of cake we wanted. Well, you're not old enough for that yet, so we cooked you a breakfast of your favorite things (and some of ours).
How about a Mickey Mouse shaped pancake with sliced bananas an Biscoff spread and some tots? "Don't mind if I do" was your reaction.
The tots seemed to be your favorite part.
You're also working on feeding yourself.
After a hearty breakfast, you opened presents from us.
Not sure what your hangup is with books, but we love it!
Once the cake settled and you got a bath, it was on to your 12 month photos. A little bittersweet as this is the final time we'll shoot these with you.
Overall, I like to think you had a great first birthday!
