Today Ava Stood In The Pan

No sooner did we get you seated for dinner did you want out of your seat.

Yet another dinner you refused to eat. What are we going to do with you? Mom and I are becoming increasingly concerned with your lack of eating. It seems you'll eat the snacks but not the meals. We need you to eat so you stay healthy, kiddo.

We let you down so you could go play while we ate and would try to get something in you in a little bit.

Instead of heading for the living room you headed straight for the low cabinets.

Did you plan on cooking yourself dinner? With a couple pans strewn out on the kitchen floor you got stepped into one and began to twirl.

Mom and I just sat there and observed. We looked at each other and both stated "Looks like we'll be washing that one when she's done."

We let you go until more and more pans were danced in. We had no choice but after this little diddy we had to put a stop to your one man show.

We love the creativity and will encourage you to use your mind at every opportunity, but we just weren't into washing each and every pot and pan in the inventory tonight and you''re not old enough to do it yourself yet.

Maybe for your birthday I'll build you a stage.
